[SPAM] Quarantine Spam Mails and notification to User

Hi,

I'm using qmailtoaster and simscan from last 2 yrs and really happy with the
performance. Recently I got a requirement where user want to quarantine spam
mails in a separate directory and receiver should get a email notification
regarding the spam mail. And if he thinks the mail is genuine he can
retrieve the same from quarantine folder.
I was searching over internet on how to do the same and come across with
same feature in MailScanner which is basically developed for postfix. Also
while reading more about simscan I come to know quarantine facility is their
in simscan.

Can anyone let me know on how to fulfill this requirement using simscan?

Amit:

Simscan will only mark the message or reject it by design. What you need
is a software capable of taking decisions based on the message status
(mostly header data) while it's been delivered, like maildrop. You may write
a filter for achieve that easily, without changing simscan behaviour. I use
it and it works perfectly. Check it out:
